As a little girl, I remember waking up and heading straight to the arts and crafts table to color or paint a picture, and I remember following my mom outside while she suntanned, with a journal and pencil in my arms, ready to write a new chapter book or poem. I've always enjoyed being artistic and I've always loved telling stories. Photography combines the two - each photo an artistic means to tell a story.
