Wedding Guide | The Details

How to get gorgeous flat lay photos that tell your story

I love capturing all the little details you've carefully chosen to be a part of your wedding day!

On the day of your wedding, I'll typically arrive a little early to say hello & snag your details first thing. I like to set aside about 30 minutes to capture and style details. I recommend choosing a getting ready location filled with natural light and, if possible, please keep the space (or at least a corner) free from trash and clutter :)

It would be wonderful if you could put all of your rings, jewelry, shoes, veil purse, perfume, invitations and other keepsakes tog| ether in one spot. Please unwrap your dress but don't worry about styling it - I'll hang it in a beautiful spot!

My top 5 tips | How to get gorgeous flat lay photos that tell your story

Leave your photographer at least 30 minutes for detail photos

Ask your florist to leave some extra stems for your photographer to add in to your flatlay

I always bring a few neutral ribbons and ring dishes, but feel free to check out one of my favorite Etsy shops if you want to shop for some goodies that fit your wedding colors!

Don’t forget your invitation suite!

Don’t forget to get your rings cleaned!

Below are a few checklists to get you started!
